- ADHERENCE – The best diet is the diet best suited time you. Provided you are struggling to adhere to that you have been recommended and subsequently eating more calories than you should be, such a diet is not going to result in the composition changes you may have been hoping for. Opt for a diet that accommodates for your preferences.
- EAT WHEN CONVENIENT – Your total caloric intake is to be prioritized over the frequency you eat. Don’t put pressure on yourself to eat multiple times a day, doing so often isn’t viable in the real world. Provided your schedule only allows you to eat 3x per day, have a diet tailored to accommodate, eating less frequently will not adversely effect your progress should your total caloric intake remained controlled.
- BALANCE YOUR CALORIES – One bad day does not necessarily mean that the entire week was a waste of time and energy. Should your ambition be to lose weight and you substantially exceed your caloric intake on a particular day, consider the calories consumed in excess of those you should have, compensate by cutting calories for the next few days. Should you adhere to your new acommodative caloric intake for as many days as required to offset your slip up, you can expect to look as you otherwise would have had you not spilled over.
